Staff at Bay Tree Veterinary Centre have been working hard to ensure the safety of our clients and local community. We all have a collective responsibility to slow the spread of coronavirus and thereby protect the more vulnerable members of our society.

We remain open and want to reassure our clients that we have put in place measures to ensure that your pet will be able to access emergency veterinary care at any time over the coming months.

We are asking all clients to call the practice before visiting us. We have created new procedures to avoid clients having to enter the premises unless it’s absolutely necessary. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and we hope that you understand that we are trying to make the right decisions, not just for the practice or the individual client, but for our wider community. To help reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus between clients and staff we have made the difficult decision to postpone routine non-essential appointments. We are contacting everyone who will be affected by this.If your pet needs veterinary attention please call the practice. In many cases, a problem can be dealt with remotely. We can even provide video consultations if required. However, if the vet needs to see your pet, arrangements will be made for this to be done as safely as possible. If you require repeat prescriptions including flea/worm treatment, please call reception so that we can pick and package these products ready for you to collect. We hugely appreciate our clients’ cooperation. This has been a difficult decision to make, especially for a small independent practice that prides itself on its openness and welcoming spirit. We are taking these precautions to protect the people and community that we love. Please stay well, look after each other, and be reassured that we will be here to look after your furry loved-one.Dr.
