We use our Idexx blood analysing machine to check and monitor your pet’s health. We can check for liver and kidney function as well as other conditions such as Diabetes. We recommend that older animals have a pre-anaesthetic blood test before undergoing anaesthesia and operations. This enables us to adopt the safest method of anaesthesia for your pet.
Steriliser
We use a modern Prestige steriliser to sterilise our instruments after each operation. Each kit is thoroughly cleaned and dried after use before being wrapped and packed into special protective pouches. These are dated after sterilisation with an expiry date to ensure we maintain a high level of sterility.
Anaesthetic trolley
We have a hospital quality anaesthetic trolley that enables us to use a range of anaesthetic circuits to suit all sizes of animals. We use a dedicated vapouriser to provide accurate control of the sevofluorane concentration during gaseous anaesthesia. We have a range of different size induction masks and endotracheal tubes for the different sizes of animals.
