We have a modern dental machine which enables us to perform more efficient dental procedures. The ultrasonic scaler is used to remove the build up of tartar from the surface of the teeth and below the gum line. The high speed drill is used to cut damaged teeth between the roots to help remove them. The low speed polisher is used to polish the teeth using a rubber cup and brush. ECG machine
We have an ECG machine, which we use for routine monitoring of animals during anaesthesia. It produces a trace of the heart beat and monitors the respiratory rate and warns of any problems with an alarm. It can also be used to take a trace for the interpretation of heart problems. This is usually performed without the need for sedation.
